I'm peachy keen on 1940s and 1950s fashion and I dress like it on a daily basis. I've had very little training when it comes to sewing, but I deal with the challenges as they occur as well as being blessed with a mother who is a retired seamstress, so I often turn to her when things get frustrating. The thing that got me started with sewing was my inability to find off-the-rack clothing that actually fit me and had proper construction. This blog focuses on my adventures in sewing where I rely mainly on vintage patterns, but also the occasional vintage reproduction pattern and patterns with a vintage appeal.
Thank you so much, Rinda! I'm so happy you liked it. I also think this dress ended up very nicely and I especiallt think the two colours play really well off of each other :)
